February 2025 Announcements
2025 National Convention!
On Saturday at NatCon, we will have the privilege attending any of the breakout sessions that interest us! There are tracks for Ethics, Medical, Addiction Medicine, Missions, Psychiatry, Coaching, Students/Residents and Spiritual/Family Life. Many of our women will likely attend the Spiritual/Family Life track, which will feature three great breakout sessions!
The first session is a "Christian Healthcare Marriage Panel – Real Life Conversations and Encouragement.” This panel will feature married healthcare couples (perhaps some familiar faces!) who will vulnerably answer our many questions! The second session, “Restoring Relational and Sexual Wholeness,” will be provided by Gary and Melissa Ingraham of Love and Truth Network.
We’ll wrap up the day with a discussion with Cassandra Laymon of Beacon Wealth Management, who will speak on “From Residency to Retirement: Mastering Money Conversations for Every Stage of Your Life Together.”

International PAACS Conference
We are thrilled that Side By Side has been invited to teach at this incredible event! This month, Alisa Copeland (Kenya) and Laura Sherwin (Malawi) will share the vision of Side By Side at the PAACS Intern Conference spouses track. The Pan-African Academy of Christian Surgeons (PAACS) trains and disciples African physicians to become surgeons who provide excellent, compassionate care where it’s most needed. We pray the women attending will be inspired to bring Side By Side to their home countries, creating ripple effects that transform lives and healthcare across Africa.
