Being in a medical or dental marriage brings a unique set of circumstances which those outside of medicine cannot understand.

But Side By Side does understand, and with chapters in over ninety communities worldwide, women can connect, love and pray for each other, while encouraging one another in their personal relationships with Jesus Christ.

Side By Side focuses on supporting, challenging and uplifting medical marriages to bring glory to Jesus, while positively impacting daily life and fostering deep relationships with each other, our husbands and our Lord.

Our Mission

Side By Side will strive to help medical and dental wives to grow strong in their relationships with Jesus Christ, with their husbands, and with one another.

Our Goals

-To reach out to the wives of physicians and dentists in our medical community and share Christ.

-To challenge women to study and apply the Bible to their lives daily.

-To be a place of love, prayer and support.

-To build Christian community.

-To support and encourage strong medical marriages.

-To provide a safe atmosphere for children where biblical principles are modeled and taught.

We strive to reach these goals by our commitment to be:

  • Christ- Like

    Your attitude should be the same as that of Christ Jesus.

  • Controlled by the Holy Spirit

    But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all truth. He will not speak on his own; he will speak only what he hears, and he will tell you what is yet to come. He will bring glory to me by taking from what is mine and making it known to you.

  • Communing in Prayer

    And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep praying for all the saints.

  • Competent

    In the same way, let your light shine before me, that they may see your good deeds and praise your father in heaven.

  • Courageous

    For God did not give us a spirit of timidity, but a spirit of power, of love and of self-discipline.
