Side By Side can’t wait to see you in St. Charles, Missouri on May 1-4, as we dive deeply into the three pillars on which our ministry stands: Standing with our Husbands, Striving with our Sisters and Walking with our Lord. Come with your friends from your chapter, bring your husband to earn some CME and enjoy a mini-vacation together (childcare options available!), or represent your chapter solo while meeting new friends and gleaning information to take back home to your chapter.

Registrations

    • Log into or create a CMDA account.

    • Select the Side By Side Participant option when you register. If you’re attending with your husband, you can register him and add yourself as a “guest”, still selecting Side By Side Participant.

  • Accommodations are offered at the Embassy Suites by Hilton, which is attached to the conference center. Breakfast is provided and included in the cost of your stay.

  • Boxed lunches are included with your conference registration for Friday & Saturday. Dinner will be on our own Thursday & Friday evenings, and we can't wait to explore some yummy new restaurants with you all. Saturday evening will include a banquet dinner reception for all conference attendees.

  • If you are flying to the convention, flying into the St. Louis Lambert International Airport (STL) is recommended. This airport is approximately 10 to 15 minutes from the Embassy Suites in St. Charles. For those driving to the convention, the hotel does offer complimentary self-parking.

  • Children (infants through age 12) will enjoy a Christian day camp format of biblically themed stories, crafts, activities, games, and hikes with caring adults. Pricing is $150 for the first child and $125 for each additional child. It’s simple to add your children’s reservation when you are completing your registration.

Side By Side Activities

  • Join us for a craft, ice breaker, getting to know other women and the ministry of Side By Side, prayer and worship, a Side By Side Testimony from Regional Director Julie Fernandez, and an overview of the weekend.

  • On Friday, Side By Side will host three breakout sessions for women in healthcare marriages based on our three pillars of Standing by our Husbands, Striving with our Sisters and Walking with our Lord. We will hear from author and podcast host Shannon Popkin, who will be leading us through two sessions on Control and Comparison- How to Overcome my Desire for Control and How to Hear, "Well Done!" (Even If You're Outdone). We'll also hear from Side By Side Executive Director Rebecca Lehman on Commitment: Commitment: Holding Fast in a World That Lets Go.

    Be sure to join many of us at the Family Life Track on Saturday for the Christian Healthcare Marriage Panel - Real Life Conversations and Encouragement (featuring three CMDA couples: Dr. Dave and Jody Stevens, Dr. Paul and Dr. Josephine Glaser, and medical student Bethany and husband Joshua Taylor), along with two more breakout sessions: Restoring Relational and Sexual Wholeness (Gary & Melissa Ingraham from Love & Truth) and From Residency to Retirement: Mastering Money Conversations for Every Stage of Your Life Together (Cassandra Laymon from Beacon Wealth Management).

  • Join us on Friday and Saturday mornings for Coffee, Conversation, and Captivating Teaching for ALL women at NatCon. Teachings provided by SBS Regional Director Lindsay Ilgenfritz and WPDC's Sarah Rahkola, followed by fellowship and intentional conversations.

  • Friday evening we will host our Game Night, and Saturday evening look forward to an international-themed social! Saturday is also the banquet dinner.
